Kinsey Alexander

Kinsey Alexander began her studies with Kellie Grennan and attended the Musicalis Australis music school for before continuing her studies with Dr. Alexa Still at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music High School. After passing her music HSC with full marks she was accepted into the Sydney Conservatorium of Music University with a full scholarship where she began studying under James Kortum. During this time, she was principal flute for the Sydney Youth Orchestra, and the Sydney Conservatorium of music Orchestra where she had the opportunity to participate in the bicentennial celebration of the Conservatorium, performing Bernstein’s Mass on the Sydney Opera House stage. Kinsey also performed on the recently released CD, CELEBRARE, which features the Sydney Conservatorium Wind Symphony under the baton of the legendary John Lynch. She graduated from in 2015 with a Bachelor of Performance. 

Kinsey runs a successful teaching business on the Northern Beaches, taking individual lessons, groups and sectionals. She is a founding member of the Northern Beaches Wind Quintet and an active member of the Northern Beaches Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Northern Beaches Symphonic Youth Band and performs with the Klezmer inspired Charcoal band.
