NBO
northern beaches orchestra
The NBYO is a community youth orchestra, accepting players from the ages of approximately 9 to 16 with an AMEB Grade (or equivalent) of 2 or higher. It is the feeder orchestra to our NBO where players are of AMEB Grade 6 or higher and over 16 years of age.
The Youth Orchestra is a not-for-profit organisation and was created to provide opportunities for young people and amateur musicians on the Northern Beaches to excel musically, as well as to enhance the cultural life of the local community.
We have developed a strong local profile, appearing in concert venues from Manly to Avalon. We enjoy the generous support of
St Luke's Grammar School, who provide a regular rehearsal venue.
